A Sajda account exists only for cloud backup. If you never turned backup on, the server holds no account and none of your qada or zikr data: everything is on your phone. The server may hold only questions you sent with “Ask a question” and server logs (see “What is kept”).
In the app
- Only the server backup (the data on the phone stays): Profile → Manage → Turn off backup → Delete. You need the internet; if the app asks, sign in again with exactly the Google account that has backup turned on. With another account, backup turns off on the phone but the server account may stay.
- Everything (phone and server): Profile → Delete all data → Delete. If the server cannot be reached, nothing is deleted.
- No old phone: install Sajda on any Android phone → Restore from backup → Continue with Google → Restore, then delete with one of the options above. If the app says This account has no backup, there is no copy on the server, but an empty account record (Google account number, time zone, language) may remain. To delete it, set up the app, tap Profile → Turn on backup with that Google account, then delete the backup with the first option.
- Uninstalling the app does not delete the server backup.
Without the app: delete on this page
This option will be available soon. For now, delete in the app or by email (below).
Without the app, by email
Write to support@qazo-namoz.uz with the subject “Sajda: delete account”. The server does not store your email, name or phone number, only your Google account number, so we cannot find your account by email. Tell us roughly when you turned backup on and last used it, dates from the calculation (for example, the date of puberty and the date you started praying) or the number of qada prayed, and the names of your own zikrs. If these details match exactly one account, we delete it and reply to you; we handle requests within 30 days at most. If we cannot identify the account reliably, we will tell you and suggest deleting it in the app.
What is deleted
Deleted from the server database at once: the account and its Google link, the backup copy (calculation inputs, results, marks, daily counts, plan history), zikrs, settings and all sessions. Your Google account itself is not deleted.
What is kept
- Backups of the server database — at most 15 days: each day, when a new backup is made, those older than 14 days are deleted automatically.
- Server logs (IP address, request time and path, User-Agent, random account number) — no fixed period; rotated by size (about 30 MB per service).
- Questions sent with “Ask a question” are not tied to the account and are not deleted with it; send us the text and date and we will delete them separately.
- Data on the phone (with the first option) and your export files stay with you.
